During this year, we’ve further developed our knowledge of marketing and sales. We’ve also been introduced to new courses specifically on the topic of international business development, including: International Trade, Doing Business in Emerging Markets, Retail Management, etc. In the second semester, I did a 5-month long business placement. I was able to find my placement during the ‘Careers Fair’ event organised by ICD, which was attended by numerous partner companies looking for new talent to join their ranks. I had 2 interviews and both companies offered me an end-of-year placement. In the end, I chose to do my placement in a company at the Station F incubator in Paris, which is the biggest in the world. In year 4, we were required to choose a ‘pre-specialisation’. I decided to choose International Business Development, which is taught entirely in English. It was a very rewarding year, which helped me learn more about my ability to start up my own company overseas.
